We are a leading business in the heating and cooling industry. For over sixty years we have been partnering with our clients, making a difference to their lives and businesses.
Our mission is to deliver an outstanding client experience every day, by creating a great place to work. Happy employees make happy clients, and it is this belief that has served us well as a business and as an employer.
As a contracts engineer you will be responsible for project managing the installation of refrigeration and air conditioning. You will apply your technical skills and organisational skills to ensure we deliver outstanding customer service and meet the unique requirements of each job. A very important part of your role will be to ensure that all health, safety and environmental policies and procedures are followed. Your days will vary - sometimes you may be in the office for most of the day, other days you will be visiting customer sites to plan a job, advise the installation team or solve problems. You will be the main contact point for customers from initial order until commissioning and will also work closely with our in‑house installation engineers and sub‑contractors.
Due to the safeguarding requirements of our customers, many of whom are schools or hospitals, we complete confidential criminal record checks on all roles that attend customer sites. If you are successful, you will be required to complete a DBS check. We strictly follow the DBS code of practice and comply with the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974. If you have a criminal record, this will not necessarily preclude you from working for us.
