Overview

We are seeking a highly organised and motivated Community Safety Partnership Support Officer to join our dedicated Community Safety team. In this vital role, you will provide administrative and coordination support to help deliver effective community safety initiatives, ensuring our residents, partners, and stakeholders receive a professional and responsive service. You will play a key part in supporting the teamss work on crime reduction, anti-social behaviour, safeguarding, and community engagement by managing casework systems, coordinating communications, and maintaining accurate records.

Appointment Type Permanent Position; Hours 37 hours per week (Full-time); Location Millmead House, Millmead, Guildford GU2 4BB; Salary Grade 3 - £29,762 to £32,792; DBS Clearance Not Applicable; Closing Date 04/01/2026; Reference 11018.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive administrative support to the Community Safety team and the Joint Guildford & Waverley Community Safety Partnership Executive.
  • Maintain and update case management systems, ensuring accurate and timely data entry.
  • Act as a first point of contact for enquiries from residents, partner agencies, and internal teams.
  • Arrange and minute multi-agency meetings.
  • Prepare reports, briefing notes, and statistical information as required.
  • Assist in coordinating community safety projects, events, and campaigns.
  • Ensure sensitive information is managed in line with data protection and safeguarding requirements.
  • Support the monitoring of action plans, deadlines, and performance indicators.
About You
  • Highly organised with excellent attention to detail.
  • Able to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
  • A strong written and verbal communicator with the ability to deal confidently with a range of stakeholders.
  • Proficient in using Microsoft Office and able to quickly learn new systems.
  • Calm under pressure, able to prioritise competing workloads, and comfortable working independently or as part of a team.
  • Interested in community safety, safeguarding, and partnership working.
  • Experience in a similar administrative role, especially within community safety, housing, local government, or the public sector, is desirable but not essential.
