We are looking for a full‑time Commis Pastry Chef and a full‑time Commis Savoy Chef to assist in crafting delicious desserts, confectionery, savoury items and pastry-based delicacies. The successful candidate will be passionate about baking, hardworking, well‑versed in culinary arts, and adhere to strict hygiene and cleanliness standards.

Savoury Commis Chef Responsibilities
  • Assisting the Head Savoy Chef with the operation and management of the savoury section and liaising with the Head Chef to ensure a successful working environment.
  • Preparing ingredients and handling cooking and other kitchen equipment.
  • Creating savoury goods by following set recipes.
  • Ensuring that the section of the kitchen adheres to safety and health regulations.
Pastry Commis Chef Responsibilities
  • Assisting the Head Baker with the operation and management of the pastry section and liaising with the Head Chef to ensure a successful working environment.
  • Preparing ingredients and handling baking and other kitchen equipment.
  • Creating pastries, baked goods, and confections by following set recipes.
  • Ensuring that the pastry section adheres to safety and health regulations.
Savoury Commis Chef Requirements

There will be three stages: an interview with HR, an interview with Head Chefs, followed by a reference check and trial.
