A leading media organization is seeking a Commercial Procurement Manager to enhance strategic sourcing and drive third-party commercial strategy. The role involves stakeholder management, delivering procurement projects, and ensuring compliance with BBC standards. The ideal candidate will have strong interpersonal skills, knowledge of procurement processes in regulated environments, and data analysis capabilities. This position offers a competitive salary and flexibility in working arrangements.
Salary: £50,000 - £65,000 per annum, depending on relevant skills, knowledge and experience. The expected salary range for this role reflects internal benchmarking and external market insights.

Location: Any major BBC hub (UK based)

The Commercial Procurement team is repositioning itself to become a strategic enabler for the BBC. The Commercial Procurement Manager will partner with stakeholders to influence the appropriate sourcing approach. You’ll drive third‑party commercial strategy whilst navigating risk. Operating independently, whilst leading junior staff across a pipeline of defined category projects.
You will ensure BBC standards are met and public procurement regulations are followed. Owning governance processes to ensure approval routes are navigated efficiently and effectively, resulting in the best outcome for the BBC.
