Contract: Full Time, Permanent, 40 hours per week
Salary: Competitive salary based on experience plus £5,000 annual bonus

Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive care plans for each young person, addressing care, education, social, emotional, cultural, therapeutic, and health needs.
- Build and lead a strong team, collaborating with recruitment teams to ensure the best fit for your home and delivering company induction and personal development plans.
- Consult with young people to gather their feedback on the care they receive.
- Assign a Key Worker to each young person to implement their care plan.
- Maintain high‑quality care standards in line with the Home’s Statement of Purpose and quality standards.
- Take responsibility for addressing complaints and child‑protection concerns.
- Collaborate with parents, carers and other professionals to promote the welfare of young people.
- Attend and contribute to care‑planning and review meetings as appropriate.
- Create a safe culture ensuring children receive the best possible standard of care.
- Manage the home commercially, aligning operations to budget expectations.
Qualifications & Experience
- Passion for making a difference to the lives of children in care.
- At least 2 years in a residential care position for children, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role within the last 5 years.
- Level 3 in Children’s Residential Care is essential; Level 5 in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare is preferred at application, otherwise enrollment within 6 months is required.
- Strong knowledge of the Quality Standards, SCCIF, childcare legislation and regulatory requirements.
- Excellent planning, organising, budgeting, resource allocation and team‑leadership skills.
- Confidence in effective spoken and written communication.
- Understanding of trauma and experience managing challenging behaviour.
- Full UK driving licence.
