About the role

Teesside Operations

The ConocoPhillips Norsea Terminal, located in Teesside at the mouth of the river Tees, is a crude oil reception, processing, storage, and trans‑shipment installation. The terminal also fractionates natural gas liquids into ethane, propane, and butane.

The terminal’s success is built on its high performing workforce and can provide opportunities throughout your career to progress and continually develop. With ongoing production from Ekofisk and Eldfisk, other redeveloped fields and new exploration projects in the works, the future looks bright as we prepare for a lifetime to 2050.

Primary Role / responsibilities

  • Develop and implement Process Safety / Operating Integrity initiatives within the operating group
  • Monitoring and evaluating unit performance
  • Troubleshooting operating problems
  • Generating ideas and seeking out opportunities for unit optimisation
  • Producing process designs for projects using safety and environmental best practices
  • Providing engineering and economic evaluation in the screening of potential projects
  • Participating in project teams in the design and construction of projects
