Care Practitioner – Telford Hall Care Home (part of Sandstone Care Group)

Pay Rate: £12.28 per hour

Day Shifts: 3 days per week (33 hours) or 4 days per week (44 hours) – shifts 7am‑7pm

Notes: This role is not suitable for applicants with a 20‑hour student visa working restriction or those requiring visa sponsorship/sponsor switch.

We are looking for a compassionate and dedicated professional to provide high‑quality care and support to our residents during daylight hours, ensuring their dignity, comfort and well‑being.

Responsibilities
  • Assist residents with personal care, including hygiene, dressing and mobility support.
  • Support residents with meals and hydration, ensuring dietary needs are met.
  • Promote resident engagement by encouraging participation in activities and social interaction.
  • Monitor residents' health and well‑being, promptly addressing any changes or concerns.
  • Provide emotional support and companionship to create a warm, welcoming atmosphere.
  • Document care activities accurately and maintain clear communication with team members.
  • Ensure a clean, safe and nurturing environment for residents and colleagues.
  • Participate in ongoing training and development programmes to enhance skills and knowledge.
