Your work will help transform energy and reduce carbon emissions for a cleaner future.# The role:As a Buyer for Corporate Services, you will help drive our goals by:\*\* Note\*\* - this role is to support global corporate services and is not a plant role (goods). • Act in line with JM values and the One Procurement Community (OPC) to support Procurement Excellence. • Ensure compliance with Group Procurement policies, standards, and operating models, utilizing Coupa for sourcing and supplier management. • Build and manage supplier relationships, negotiate contracts, improve supply channels, and drive sustainable value. • Analyze purchase order data and financial pipelines to support demand planning and cost optimization. • Identify and implement supply chain improvements, ensuring cost-effective, ethical, and high-quality sourcing. • Drive and support category strategies, procurement projects, and business improvements to optimize efficiency and savings. • Collaborate with stakeholders, finance, and JMGS teams to resolve procurement disputes, ensure compliance, and enhance business performance.# Key skills that will help you succeed in this role:• Procurement Expertise: 5+ years in indirect services procurement, including category management, sourcing, and contract negotiation. • Supplier & Stakeholder Management: Experience managing suppliers and collaborating across cultures, geographies, and time zones. • Strategic & Cost Optimization: Ability to balance total cost of ownership (TCO), value analysis, and cost-saving initiatives. • Project & Change Management: Skilled in driving procurement projects and implementing process improvements. • Communication & Leadership: Strong interpersonal skills to influence senior stakeholders and champion Procurement’s vision. • Analytical & Decision-Making: Ability to forecast, analyze data, and prioritize tasks effectively.This position is based in either Gliwice, Poland or Royston, Hertfordshire UK (not supporting any Plant requirements) and requires working on-site 3-4 days per week, with 1-2 days of remote flexibility.# How you will be rewarded:We make sure salaries are fair, competitive and aligned to individual roles, experience and responsibilities.
