The Honeypot Children's Charity has been supporting vulnerable children and young carers aged 5-12 since 1996. The organization enhances the lives of young carers by offering Respite Breaks and ongoing outreach services, providing them with a much-needed escape from challenging home responsibilities. Honeypot creates a safe and nurturing environment where children can make happy memories and reach their full potential. The charity is committed to building brighter futures for these children through its targeted programs and support services.

Role Description

The Business Development Manager (Fundraising) will be responsible for developing and executing fundraising strategies to support the organization's mission. Key responsibilities include identifying and securing new funding opportunities, building and nurturing relationships with donors and corporate partners. The role requires tracking and reporting on fundraising performance to ensure targets are met. This is a full-time hybrid position based in Hammersmith, with flexibility to work from home part of the time.

Qualifications
  • Proven experience in business development, fundraising, or donor relations
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
  • Proven track record in securing new business or partnerships, ideally within the charity or corporate sector. Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a charity raising consistently 2-3 million.
  • Knowledge of the charity sector and fundraising best practices.
  • Proficiency in donor management systems and CRM software is advantageous
  • A proactive approach, self-motivation, and ability to meet fundraising targets
  • Experience of research and evaluation methods to identify, refine and decide on donors to approach
  • Passion for improving the lives of vulnerable children and aligning with the charity’s mission
