Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement BIM standards and QA/QC
  • Lead federated model management, ensuring coordination and data exchanges across disciplines
  • Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and external stakeholders to maintain design and information alignment
  • Lead, coordinate, and mentor BIM and computational teams
  • Design and deliver BIM training programmes and CPD sessions
  • Champion automation, scripting, and interoperability workflows (e.g. IFC, COBie, Speckle) to drive continuous improvement and efficiency across projects
Skills Required (Essential)
  • 8+ years’ experience delivering large, multidisciplinary projects in a BIM environment; strong advantage if within transit infrastructure or complex urban developments.
  • Deep understanding of the UK BIM Framework, ISO 19650 principles, and Common Data Environment (CDE) workflows.
  • Proven experience preparing and managing BIM Execution Plans (BEPs), Employer’s Information Requirements (EIRs), and related project documentation.
  • Advanced proficiency in Revit and Navisworks (or similar) for model federation and clash detection.
  • Strong leadership, collaboration, and coordination skills, with the ability to guide teams, manage resources, and maintain high technical and digital standards through a proactive, solutions-driven approach.
  • Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
(Desirable)
  • Experience working within multi-office or global practices.
  • Proficiency in Bentley BIM software and workflows.
  • Awareness of data‑interoperability standards and openBIM principles (e.g. IFC, COBie, Speckle).
  • Familiarity with computational and parametric design tools (e.g. Dynamo, Grasshopper, Rhino.Inside) and real‑time visualisation platforms (e.g. Enscape, Twinmotion, Unreal Engine, Unity) to support automation and integrated digital delivery.
  • Knowledge of scripting, API integration, and collaborative‑code platforms (e.g. GitHub, GitLab) to support workflow automation within BIM environments.
  • Interest in emerging digital technologies, sustainability analytics, and data‑driven design research.
Benefits
  • Competitive salary benchmarked against leading London competitors
  • Performance based bonus linked to business and personal KPIs
  • Flexible/hybrid work opportunities – minimum of 3 days in the studio
  • Support for continued, professional development (CPD training, certifications)
