A high-growth technology company in Cardiff is seeking a Bid Manager to drive business growth via effective bid management and proposal activities. The ideal candidate should have 3 to 5 years of experience, proven success in public sector tenders, and strong interpersonal skills. This is a full-time hybrid role requiring some client site travel.
Join us as Bid Manager, you’ll be at the heart of our business growth strategy, leading the development and conversion of new business and rebid opportunities. You’ll build strong relationships with internal teams and external stakeholders, driving success on cutting‑edge technical solutions for the public sector.
Day to day, you’ll have the following responsibilities:
Lead bid and proposal management activities
Effectively and efficiently resource bids
Run and facilitate storyboard sessions
Hold regular bid reviews and stand‑ups
Manage and monitor all public sector tender portals
Update and maintain bid library
Ensure Codiance is represented accurately on CCS portals such as G-Cloud / DOS
Identify further suitable CCS portals for Codiance services and manage submissions
Build and maintain strong relationships with internal teams and external clients
Coordinate cross‑functional teams to deliver winning bids
Apply recognised business growth methodologies such as Shipley
Manage internal meetings at senior level with confidence and clarity
This role is full‑time, 37.5 hours per week. This role is a hybrid role, plus some travel to client sites may be required.
