Job Description

We are seeking a talented Associate to join our Business Outsourcing Services team in Beaconsfield. In your role, you will work with clients and their finance teams or bookkeepers, helping them with year‑end accounts, management accounts, bookkeeping, VAT returns and cloud accounting software support. You will also gain exposure to working with Partners and senior members of staff.

This is a permanent full‑time role based at our Beaconsfield office (5 days per week).

Responsibilities
  • Provide statutory accounts, bookkeeping, management accounts, VAT returns, software implementation and “health‑checks” for clients.
  • Develop an understanding of our clients and their businesses.
  • Keep your manager fully informed of any issues, ensuring the work is completed to the agreed level and recorded clearly.
  • Become familiar with our internal accounting software and other cloud accounting technologies.
  • Provide advice and solutions to clients in to their accounting queries.
  • Use automation to improve efficiencies for clients’ finance functions.
  • Prioritise tasks for your own portfolio of clients, monitoring time against budget.
Qualifications
  • Demonstrable experience working in professional practice.
  • Experience preparing statutory accounts, VAT returns and management accounts.
  • Commitment to completing the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) qualification (or ACA if already commenced).
