A global consultancy organization is seeking a Master's graduate passionate about sustainability to support client projects in Oxford (UK) or Leiden (Netherlands). You'll work with sector experts, gain practical experience in project management, and develop your skills in responsible sourcing. Proforest is a mission‑driven organisation providing consultancy services across agricultural supply chains. We support the transition of agricultural and forest commodities production and sourcing towards delivering positive environmental and social outcomes for People, Nature and Climate. Our work addresses issues such as protecting and restoring forests and ecosystems, advancing gender equality, respecting the rights of workers, communities and indigenous peoples.

You will work alongside sector experts in an international setting, gaining in‑depth knowledge of responsible production and sourcing of agricultural commodities. After initial onboarding, you will take on client project tasks under the guidance of our experienced team, contributing to our mission from day one.
This position is ideal for a recent Master’s graduate in sustainability, environment, ecology, human rights, or climate field in the context of agricultural production, or someone with relevant work experience in these fields. You must be proactive, eager to learn, and adaptable.
Knowledge in sustainability within agricultural commodity production.
Excellent communication skills, including the ability to build relationships and present effectively.
Strong analytical, organisational, and time‑management skills.
Collaborative approach and high integrity standards.
Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
Be part of a global organisation with offices in 9 countries and colleagues from over 17 nationalities.
25 days annual leave plus public holidays (with 2 extra days if taken within the year).

Location: Oxford (UK) or Leiden (Netherlands). Please note there is no parking at either office.
Salary: £29,000 or €32,000 per annum (inc. holiday pay).
Contract: 18‑month fixed term, with potential for extension and promotion to a permanent role.
