Qualifications

  • Experienced Assistant Accountant with a working knowledge of the Kerridge accounting system.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with colleagues, clients, and customers.
  • Experience in the Motor Trade is an advantage.

Responsibilities

  • Produce spreadsheets and statistical data to support the management team.
  • Complete forecasts, estimates, and assist with Management Accounts production.
  • Handle payroll, balance sheet reconciliations, accruals, and prepayments.

Vertu Renault Exeter

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Assistant Accountant to join our team in Vertu Renault Exeter.

This is a Full-Time, permanent role where we are offering a basic salary up to £27,000depending on experience plus an excellent range of company benefits.

You will work alongside the accountant in the production of spreadsheets and statistical data to support the management team, and as an aid to business decisions.

Alongside day-to-day accounts you will also complete the following tasks:

  • Forecasts
  • Estimates
  • Assist with the production of the Management Accounts
  • Payroll
  • Balance sheet reconciliations
  • Accruals and Prepayments
  • Cash Flow
  • Reconciling Manufacturer Bonuses
  • Credit Control

The ideal candidate will be an experienced Assistant Accountant, who is looking to take the next step up. A working knowledge of the Kerridge accounting system would be ideal but not essential, as well as previous Motor Trade experience. You will have the ability to communicate effectively with all financial and non-financial colleagues, clients and customers.
