We are seeking a motivated Application Engineer (AE) to drive technical sales and support for Siemens EDA’s Avery Verification IP ( VIP ) portfolio across EMEA. As a key member of the technical sales team, you will help grow Siemens EDA’s functional verification business by ensuring successful adoption and expansion of our VIP solutions.
You will identify and applies to customers, define evaluation and benchmark criteria, execute technical campaigns aligned with customer workflows, deliver best-in-class support, and collaborate with account managers on sales strategies. Your role is critical in ensuring customer success and promoting broader use of Siemens EDA Avery VIP solutions within a dynamic, high-performing team environment.
This position is based in Europe and requires up to 20% travel within the EU and other EMEA countries, including the UK and Israel.
Lead and implement technical engagements supporting sales campaigns.
Provide technical leadership throughout pre-sales and post-sales activities.
Assess technical viability of opportunities and communicate findings to the sales team.
Deliver VIP presentations and demonstrations, clearly articulating Avery’s capabilities & value proposition.
Integrate VIP into customer test benches or guide customers through the process.
Share account insights, competitive intelligence, and technical updates with peers and product teams.
Build and maintain strong customer relationships, ensuring timely and effective support.
Influence product direction by gathering & communicating industry/customer needs to marketing and development teams.
Collaborate with team members to achieve shared goals.
BS in Electrical or Computer Engineering or equivalent.
Practical experience and knowledge of one or more high-speed interface protocols such as PCIe, CXL, UCIe, NVMe, Ethernet, USB, DDRx, HBM, AMBA.
Knowledge of controllers for one or more high-speed interface protocols.
Expert in coding with SystemVerilog and UVM is mandatory.
Experience of integrating commercial VIP in SV/UVM bench required.
Experience with Linux and Windows environments including scripting languages.
Individual leadership and initiative to manage pre-sales accounts.
Excellent presentation skills and verbal/written communication skills.
Strong project management skills and the ability to break down complex problems into manageable tasks.
