Job description

We are looking to appoint an experienced Administrative Assistant to join our dedicated and successful school.

Working in our main school office you will come into daily contact with our parents and staff so, as well as having administrative experience in a school, you will also possess excellent communication and customer service skills and have a friendly, outgoing manner.

This is a temporary, part-time, role working 18.5 hours per week, on a term time only basis. till 31 August 2026

We are part of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Multi-Academy Trust, and we bring together the 36 Catholic Primary and Secondary schools in Lincolnshire, Nottingham City and Nottinghamshire.

About the role

As Administrative Assistant you will:

  • Have experience of working in a school.
  • Have experience of working in a busy office.
  • Have excellent personal, administrative, and organisational skills.
  • Be able to plan and prioritise own workload, meeting set deadlines.
  • Have the ability to maintain a calm, positive and professional manner at all times.
  • Demonstrate accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Generate excellent relationships with pupils, parents, and staff.
