Job summary

A leading consultancy in finance is seeking an Actuarial Analyst to join their Capital & Reporting team. This hybrid position involves key responsibilities such as producing Solvency UK submissions, conducting capital assessments, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. Ideal candidates will have a solid actuarial background, strong analytical skills, and are progressing towards actuarial qualifications. Competitive salary of up to £60k offered.

Qualifications

  • Solid background in actuarial and insurance experience.
  • Good progress toward an actuarial qualification is desirable.
  • Experience with Solvency UK/Solvency II or personal lines GI is a bonus.

Responsibilities

  • Production of Solvency UK submissions.
  • Forward-looking capital assessments.

  • Calculation of best estimate liabilities, risk margins and SCRs.

Actuarial Analyst – Capital and Reporting

Are you a Capital Actuarial Analyst ready to dive into a world where capital, risk and regulation meet… and occasionally argue? Join this Capital & Reporting team and become a key player in the production of Solvency UK submissions, forward‑looking capital assessments and group consolidation work. You’ll help calculate best estimate liabilities, risk margins and SCRs, prepare regulatory disclosures, support ORSA projections and pitch in across areas such as reinsurance, statutory closing, modelling, budgeting and risk monitoring. If a curious auditor appears, you’ll be the one calmly providing answers rather than quietly Googling under the desk (we’ve all been there).

Location: London – Hybrid working (1 office visit every two weeks)

Salary: up to £60k base DOE plus great benefits
