Senior Software Engineer – Java and Big Data Technologies

This Senior Software Engineer position is with a well-established Fintech business. This company has reported consistent upward trajectory in profits over the last 10 years, offering opportunities for growth, work-life balance, and employment stability.

The role is a backend engineering position focused on building a new Greenfield platform from scratch, using Java, Spring, the latest Big Data Technologies (including Apache Kafka), and Azure. You will be part of a highly skilled team tackling complex technical challenges.

This position is ideal for a self-starting, motivated, and high-performing individual eager to contribute significantly within a dynamic technology organization at a major bank. The platform will be large-scale, allowing you to make a substantial impact.

Responsibilities include:

• Building a new Greenfield platform from scratch
• Collaborating closely with data producers
• Working within a highly skilled team

Skills / Experience:

• Strong knowledge of Java and Spring
• 5-7+ years of commercial software engineering experience
• Experience developing large-scale systems

Salary / Remuneration: €85,000 – €95,000 + 10k bonus, 8% non-contributory pension, private health insurance, life assurance at 4 times basic salary, and Travel Hub.
