Laois Hire is a leading plant and tool hire company in Ireland, who provide a comprehensive range of services from plant machinery and tools to highly specialised equipment.

We have a new opportunity for a driven and motivated Hire Controller to join our successful and team based in Dublin.

In this role you will be:

  • Receiving customer calls and dealing with customer requests in an efficient and professional manner.
  • Scheduling deliveries and collections and working with the branch-based logistics team to ensure delivery commitments are met.
  • Supporting the field sales representative to maintain and build profitable relationships with customers.
  • Working with the workshop team to ensure plant and vehicles are prepared as required to meet customer expectations.
  • Ensuring that all transactions and interactions are documented, filed, and are traceable as required.
  • Applying the businesses processes rigidly and efficiently to ensure proper invoicing, cost management etc.
  • Work effectively and in partnership with the branch-based management, sales and operational functions.
