As Team Lead of Finance IT, you will join a highly experienced team of experts. In a dynamic, customer- and technology-oriented environment, you will be engaged in both our Finance excellence as well as supporting us in our journey towards the cloud and new enterprise services.

You will have a strong business impact and will be one of the key drivers within the Finance IT team to ensure the successful implementation of our projects. For this, you will be in the position where you will develop high-level business relations with our customers and stakeholders. As the lead in the IT team for Finance, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) division and ensure the smooth functioning of IT finance operations within the organization.

Your responsibilities:

1. You have a deep understanding of regulatory requirements specific to the financial services industry.
2. You ensure that IT systems and processes comply with relevant regulations, such as data protection, privacy, and financial reporting standards, with a particular emphasis on SAP Finance compliance.
3. You oversee the preparation and execution of financial audits within the IT department.
4. You work closely with internal and external auditors to ensure compliance with auditing standards, address audit findings, and implement necessary controls and improvements.
5. You are responsible for managing vendor and supplier relationships within the IT department. You evaluate vendor capabilities, negotiate contracts, and monitor service level agreements to ensure the delivery of high-quality services and products to support the organization's financial operations.
6. You possess deep expertise in SAP Finance and its applications within the financial services industry. You lead the planning, implementation, and management of SAP Finance projects, working closely with cross-functional teams to align technology solutions with the organization's financial processes, reporting requirements, and strategic goals.
7. You contribute to the organization's risk management efforts by identifying IT-related risks, assessing their potential impact on financial operations, and implementing appropriate risk mitigation strategies and controls. You work closely with the CFO and other stakeholders to ensure risk management practices align with the organization's risk appetite.
8. You participate in strategic planning exercises, providing insights and recommendations on IT initiatives that support the CFO's objectives. You collaborate with the finance department to identify opportunities for leveraging technology, particularly SAP Finance, to improve financial processes, reporting accuracy, and operational efficiency.

Your profile:

1. Understands the benefits of using state-of-the-art methods and tools and their application on engagement; contributes to the continuous development of methods and tools.
2. Have experience of working across implementation project lifecycles – from design to go-live support.
3. Demonstrate strong knowledge of SAP S4 HANA Finance processes, technology, and delivery experience.
4. Demonstrate knowledge of Cloud applications, architecture, and best practice use cases.
5. Demonstrate knowledge in event-driven architecture and/or the design and utilization of APIs.
6. Demonstrate an interest in innovative technologies e.g. Machine Learning, Advanced Analytics, Artificial Intelligence, and Automation.
7. Possess very strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
8. Be able to plan and deliver high-quality work!
9. Manage senior business stakeholders using clear communication and be able to form strong business relationships.
10. Demonstrate a clear understanding of risk in relation to SAP delivery projects.
11. Work effectively within an inclusive team and actively support the development of individuals and teams.
12. Proven expertise in using an agile project methodology and dev/ops.
13. Very good communication skills, own initiatives, able to work independently, and excellent analytical skills round off your profile.
