Job summary
A secondary education institution in Bartley Green is looking for an IT Technician. The role involves maintaining, troubleshooting, and enhancing technology systems, while also providing technical support to staff and students. The successful candidate will work under the Digital Technology Manager and may be considered for an apprenticeship. This position offers a salary range from £26,403 to £27,254 per annum based on experience or £19,836.80 for an apprenticeship, with full-time hours, Monday to Friday.

Skills
An exciting new opportunity has arisen to join King Edward VI Five Ways Grammar School as an IT Technician at King Edward VI Five Ways School (an apprenticeship may also be considered for this role). You will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our school’s technology and cloud-based systems.
You will, under the supervision of the Digital Technology Manager, be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and enhancing our IT infrastructure, as well as providing technical support to our staff and students. You will also provide cover for the Digital Technology Manager during periods of absence.
