A global media company in the UK is seeking a Director of Data and Analytics to lead the data strategy and oversee an analytics team. This role requires expertise in modern BI platforms, excellent communication skills, and the ability to mentor team members. The position offers hybrid working arrangements, allowing for remote work from home in the UK.

Newsweek is actively seeking a visionary and strategic Director, Data and Analytics to lead our data needs. In this crucial role, you will be responsible for managing and mentoring an initial team of professionals with expertise in Data Analytics and Business Intelligence. You will set the comprehensive data strategy for the organization, driving business growth by transforming data into actionable insights. This role will oversee our analytics and BI ecosystem, built on both Google and Microsoft data solutions, with a clear roadmap to incorporate and lead the Data science and engineering skillsets in the future.
This is a full‑time position with hours from 9 am to 6 pm, Monday to Friday. Our office is located in Canary Wharf, London, but you are not required to come in and can work remotely from home in the UK.
