The Learning Support Assistant’s main role is to provide additional support for young people with special educational, social, emotional and behaviour difficulties. The SEN Learning Support Assistant will ensure that the young people can integrate as fully as possible in the activities generally undertaken by the other young people in the class and make progress.Duties will include running specific programmes and activities to assist the pupils’ individual learning and social needs. The SEN Learning Support Assistant will also be responsible for implementing the targets on the pupils’ Individual Education Plan (IEP) in liaison with the class teachers and the SENCo.This is an excellent time to join Bradgate Education Partnership, working at Mercenfeld Primary School, as we continue to work collaboratively to deliver a high-quality education and meaningful experiences to our children and young people.
