Are you confident in UK botanical identification and excited by the chance to work across diverse ecological projects? Are you looking to shape your career within a growing Natural Capital team, where your skills can evolve and your expertise genuinely makes an impact?

You’ll support and lead survey work, undertake condition assessments for Biodiversity Net Gain, complete desk studies, and produce high-quality technical reporting. Working closely with specialists across our terrestrial teams, you’ll gain exposure to multidisciplinary projects and contribute to tendering and client engagement.

With support from experienced colleagues, you’ll have the opportunity to expand your Natural Capital expertise, deepen your botanical knowledge, and build experience in project management. You’ll also help shape the growing service, with opportunities for ongoing professional development and guidance from the Natural Capital department head.

  • Strong botanical identification skills (ideally FISC level 3/4 or equivalent).
  • Experience completing UK Habitat Classification and Phase 1 habitat surveys.

  • Strong organisational and communication skills, with the ability to work independently and within a team.
  • Ability to travel across the UK, including overnight stays when required.
