Town Planner - Associate Town Planner

As a Town Planner, you will be responsible for managing planning applications from start to finish, preparing detailed site assessments, drafting high-quality planning statements, formulating planning strategies, providing expert advice to clients, and working closely with local authorities and stakeholders to secure positive outcomes.

You will be leading on a variety of projects, offering both the autonomy to manage your own workload and the opportunity to collaborate with colleagues in a close-knit team. This is a role where you will be given responsibility, visibility, and the chance to influence projects of all sizes.

• A relevant planning degree and RTPI membership (or working towards).
• Strong technical knowledge of planning legislation and procedures.
• Proven experience in preparing and submitting planning applications.
• Excellent communication and report-writing skills.
• The ability to manage multiple projects and client relationships effectively.
• A proactive, solution-focused mindset and the confidence to take the lead.
