A leading care provider in Swindon is seeking a Team Leader to support and guide social care workers. This role involves shift work, supervising a team, and ensuring high-quality care is provided. The ideal candidate will have experience in the care sector and demonstrate key attributes such as patience and reliability. The role of the Team Leader is to provide support and guidance to a team of social care workers, whilst making sure you always provide the highest level of care and leadby example. You will also liaise with the seniors in the home reporting any matters of concern. You must have experience in the care sector and have the willingness to learn and expand on your previous knowledge. Not only will you make a huge difference to people’s lives, but you’ll be able to enjoy days out, trips away and join in with many more activities, all of which ensures the people we work with are safe, happy and lead fulfilling lives.
Being patient, reliable, flexible, a team player anda good communicator are key characteristics of a successful Team Leader.

Orchid House, in Swindon, provides residential care and support for six young men and women with learning disabilities, autism and associated complex needs. The home has its own Day Activities Coordinator and everyone is supported to get involved in a range of activities of their own choice, both in the home and out in the community, to develop independence skills and live life to the full. Orchid House is within easy access of local shops and amenities, about two miles from the centre of Swindon. A vehicle is available for visits and outings, including sailing, farm visits, shopping’ and meals out.
