Job summary
A leading technology consultancy is seeking an experienced SAP S/4HANA Supply Chain Solution Architect in London. You will lead the design and architecture of the SAP S/4HANA solution, ensuring it aligns with business strategy within the Oil & Gas sector. The ideal candidate has a proven track record in large-scale S/4HANA programmes and strong stakeholder management skills. This position requires onsite presence 2-3 days a week.

A major Oil & Gas operator is embarking on a strategic SAP S/4HANA transformation programme focused on its Upstream business operations. We are seeking an experienced SAP S/4HANA Supply Chain Solution Architect to design and lead the end-to-end solution across logistics, procurement, and materials management, ensuring alignment with business strategy and industry best practice.
- Lead the design and architecture of the SAP S/4HANA Supply Chain solution within an Upstream Oil & Gas context.
- Work closely with business stakeholders, programme leads, and technical teams to define solution architecture and integration touchpoints.
- Provide functional expertise across MM, EWM, PP, and integration to Procurement, Finance, and Asset Management.
- Translate complex business requirements into scalable, compliant, and efficient SAP S/4HANA solutions.
- Govern solution integrity across design, build, and testing phases.
- Advise on best practices, roadmap options, and potential innovations within S/4HANA.
- Proven track record as an SAP Solution Architect on large-scale S/4HANA Supply Chain or Logistics programmes.
- Deep understanding of SAP S/4HANA processes relevant to Oil & Gas (Upstream).
- Experience with materials management, inventory management, and procurement in a complex, global environment.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Previous experience working on programmes outside IR35 preferred.
