We are looking for a Solicitor or Associate to join our successful,highly respected and rapidly growing Energy and Resource Managementteam. Our Energy and Resource Management team is at the cutting edgeof delivering energy projects within the energy and waste managementsectors that is undergoing a once in a generation transformation as wemove towards a cleaner and greener energy system.

Our Energy and Resource Management team has exceptional experience inthe energy and resource management sectors and advises high-profileprivate sector clients, and many UK wide public sector organisations,on a range of energy and infrastructure projects across differentenergy sources and technologies, including:

The role

You will play a critical role in contributing to the ongoing successof our Energy and Resource Management team. On a day-to day basis, youwill be assisting clients on a range of exciting work, including:

  • Supporting on the procurement and delivery of a range ofinnovative energy and infrastructure projects projects.
  • Using your commercial acumen to develop and deliver strategiccommercial projects.
  • Growing your network and developing long-standing relationshipswith a range of public and private sector clients.

What we are looking for from you

Our talented Energy and Resource Management teams consists of lawyerswho have transferred into the energy sector, bringing with them adiverse set of skills and experience. We will therefore considercandidates from a range of backgrounds and experience including, forexample, a candidate with a background in projects, commercial, FM,investor or finance, without direct experience of the energy sector.

One of the key attributes that we look for in applicants is a passionto learn, enthusiasm and the desire to excel as a lawyer in the energysector. We are also looking for a team player, who enjoys deliveringprojects as part of a team and is keen to share knowledge, skills andexperience for the benefit of the wider team.

We will provide you with a range of support through a structured andbespoke development programme that will allow you to gain excellentexperience, enhance your professional and personal development andoffers transparent and achievable career progression opportunities.

The successful applicant will possess the following:

  • 2 - 5 years' PQE
  • Commercial contracts, infrastructure and/or energy infrastructure experience
  • Private practice or in-house experience welcome
  • Thrive in hybrid working environment
  • Strong foundation of technical skills and an ability to workthrough, with support from senior fee earners, complex issues in apragmatic and commercial manner
