A global medical device company is seeking a dedicated individual for a Maternity Cover in their R&D department. This role involves representing the R&D Risk Management function, working on innovative products, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. Candidates should have a strong engineering background and experience in risk management. The position is hybrid, requiring presence in Worthing three days a week. Offers include private healthcare and a pension plan.

Qualifications

  • Must have experience in risk management tools such as FMEA.
  • 3+ years of experience in R&D/Regulatory/Quality Assurance in a regulated industry.
  • Familiarity with ISO 13485 and ISO 14971 is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Represent the R&D Risk Management function on multi-disciplinary teams.
  • Deliver and report on work packages within established Design Control procedures.
  • Work closely with R&D, Quality, and external suppliers.
  • Assess and complete Risk Matrices related to Medical Devices.
  • Maintain up-to-date Risk Control Measures.
  • Continuously improve professional and technical knowledge.

Skills

Engineering qualification or relevant technical discipline
Working knowledge of general engineering principles
Competence in Microsoft Office packages
Experience processing large data methodically
Ability to generate high quality Technical Documentation

Education

Qualification in Engineering or relevant technical discipline
