Job summary
A construction recruitment agency is seeking an experienced Joiner to work on a site in South West London. The role involves constructing and repairing structures made of wood and requires attention to detail and proficiency with woodworking tools. Experience - You MUST have PREVIOUS experience working as as Joiner.
HRGO Recruitment are currently looking for experienced Joiners to work within a construction site in South West London SW3.
Successful candidates will be responsible for constructing, installing, and repairing structures and fixtures made of wood and other materials. This role requires a keen eye for detail, excellent craftsmanship, and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine project requirements.
- Measure, cut, shape, and assemble wood and other materials to create structures and fixtures.
- Install doors, windows, staircases, and other joinery components.
- Repair and maintain existing structures and fixtures.
- Operate woodworking machinery and hand tools safely and efficiently.
- Ensure all work meets quality standards and complies with safety regulations.
- Collaborate with other tradespeople and contractors on-site.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Proven experience as a Joiner or similar role.
- Proficient in using woodworking machinery and hand tools.
- Strong understanding of carpentry techniques and methods.
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents and drawings.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Good physical condition and stamina.
- Relevant certification or apprenticeship is preferred.
