Job summary

Shift: Monday - Friday

Job Description

Successful candidates will be responsible for constructing, installing, and repairing structures and fixtures made of wood and other materials. This role requires a keen eye for detail, excellent craftsmanship, and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine project requirements.
  • Measure, cut, shape, and assemble wood and other materials to create structures and fixtures.
  • Install doors, windows, staircases, and other joinery components.
  • Repair and maintain existing structures and fixtures.
  • Operate woodworking machinery and hand tools safely and efficiently.
  • Ensure all work meets quality standards and complies with safety regulations.
  • Collaborate with other tradespeople and contractors on-site.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Requirements
  • Proven experience as a Joiner or similar role.
  • Proficient in using woodworking machinery and hand tools.
  • Strong understanding of carpentry techniques and methods.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical documents and drawings.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
