About Us:

Psychiatry UK is the UK’s leading provider of digital psychiatry services, working both privately and with the NHS to support children, teenagers and adults with expert, patient‑centred care.

A career with Psychiatry UK allows you to expand your knowledge, enhance your skills, and gain valuable life experience—all while enjoying the flexibility of a remote full‑time role. As part of a leading online mental health service, you'll collaborate with innovative, forward‑thinking professionals in a dynamic, multidisciplinary team committed to making a real difference.

The Clinical Delivery Manager plays an important role in making sure Psychiatry UK’s clinical services run safely, smoothly, and effectively. Working closely with Clinical Leads, Pathway Delivery Leads, and wider operational teams, you’ll help keep services performing well, plan and manage clinical capacity, support governance processes, and drive ongoing improvements across the patient journey.

This role is all about helping teams deliver high‑quality care that meets service standards and regulatory requirements. You’ll use your analytical skills to understand what’s working (and what’s not), communicate clearly with a wide range of clinical colleagues, and bring people together to solve problems and improve how services are delivered—while always working within appropriate professional boundaries.

This is a home‑based role (applicants must reside in the UK), though occasional travel may be required for face‑to‑face meetings at various locations within the UK.

As our Clinical Delivery Manager, you will:
  • Monitor and report on clinical workforce activity, including forecasting appointment volumes, tracking hours delivered, and supporting capacity planning across the service.
  • Coordinate the introduction of new models of care, ensuring operational readiness and effective communication across relevant teams.
  • Track clinician performance metrics at a service level (quality, timeliness, volume, patient experience) and work with Clinical Leads to identify trends, risks, or areas requiring escalation.
  • Support the maintenance and review of the Clinical Risk Register, Audit Register, and associated remediation plans, ensuring actions are documented and progressed.
  • Coordinate the rollout of clinical policies and processes to the contractor workforce and monitor adoption, escalating compliance risks through the appropriate governance channels.
  • Support complex complaints, escalations, and incidents by collating information, contributing to investigations, and ensuring timely communication with relevant stakeholders.
  • Maintain effective communication channels with the clinical workforce, sharing updates, insights, and changes to pathways or processes.
  • Collate, analyse, and present operational and clinical performance data to support decision‑making and service improvement.
  • Manage personal workload effectively, prioritising tasks in response to changing needs and emerging issues.
  • Participate in regular supervision with the Deputy Medical Director and in the PUK performance development process to support ongoing professional development.
  • Complete all mandatory training, including information governance, safeguarding, and health and safety, and engage in additional training relevant to the role.
  • Contribute to wider service development initiatives, operational improvement projects, and transformation workstreams as required.

To succeed as our Clinical Delivery Manager, you will be:

A confident, organised team player who’s comfortable working with a wide range of people, including clinicians, operational colleagues, and governance teams. You’re able to communicate clearly and calmly, juggle competing priorities, and spot potential issues before they become problems. You can influence and build strong working relationships without formal authority, work independently in a remote setting, and bring a thoughtful, solutions‑focused approach to improving how services are delivered.

Essential Qualifications, Skills and Experience
  • Experience working in a healthcare, clinical operations, or other regulated services environment
  • Proven experience coordinating service delivery, operational workflows, or performance monitoring
  • Experience analysing data, producing clear reports, and presenting insights to support decision‑making
  • Experience working with multidisciplinary teams, including clinicians, governance teams, and operational staff
  • Experience supporting governance activities such as risk management, incident handling, audit, or quality processes
  • Strong understanding of clinical service delivery and the importance of governance, quality, and patient safety
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to produce clear and accurate documentation
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail in monitoring and reporting
  • Strong problem‑solving skills, with the ability to identify risks, inconsistencies, or gaps in processes
  • Confidence using Microsoft 365 and digital tools, including dashboards and online communication platforms
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment while managing multiple priorities
Desirable Qualifications, Skills and Experience
  • Experience working within mental health, community healthcare, or digital health services
  • Experience working with contractor or mixed clinical workforces
  • Experience supporting regulatory inspections (e.g. CQC) or quality improvement programmes
  • Qualifications in project management, quality improvement, or service development (e.g. PRINCE2, Lean, Six Sigma)
  • Understanding of IR35 principles, contractor engagement, and operational boundaries within mixed workforces
  • Knowledge of clinical governance, risk management frameworks, and quality assurance processes
  • Awareness of service development and operational transformation in digital or remote settings
