A small independent digital agency in the UK is looking for an experienced SEO Account Manager. You will oversee key client accounts, executing SEO strategies and managing campaign activities. The ideal candidate will have agency-side experience and strong technical SEO skills. This fully remote position offers flexibility and five weeks of holiday plus public holidays.
We’re Overthrow, a small independent agency specializing in SEO‑led content marketing. Founded three years ago, we work primarily with Y‑Combinator founders and their startups.
We’re rapidly growing and looking for an experienced SEO Account Manager to join our team.
You hold a bachelor’s degree in marketing or a related field and live in the UK.
You have at least two years of agency‑side experience, managing growth‑focused SEO for multiple client accounts.
You are an SEO specialist with strong technical, content, link‑building, and GEO skills, and enjoy the hands‑on work of client campaigns.
Excellent communication and curiosity, and you thrive on learning by doing across strategic and practical aspects of content marketing.
You will be the full owner of several key client accounts, working closely with our co‑founders and a small team of specialists. Your responsibilities include:
Overthrow is fully remote with a distributed team across the UK, US, Australia, and South Korea. All clients are based in the US. You’ll have flexibility to work asynchronously, with occasional early or late calls across time zones.
You’ll receive five weeks of holiday each year, plus all UK public holidays.
