Job description
Responsibilities
- Discover sensitive data (PII/NPI) across databases and formats using tools such as Informatica DPM and OneTrust.
- Rule Creation & Metadata Management
- Define and maintain metadata and data rules using regular expressions, aligning to data privacy and governance standards.
- Test Data Management & Masking
- Use Informatica TDM to create masking packages, implement masking rules, and automate masking processes for PII.
- Automation & Scheduling
- Automate scan and masking jobs using enterprise scheduling tools like BMC Control-M to support repeatable processes.
- Data Governance Compliance
- Support initiatives aligned with GDPR, CCPA, and internal governance frameworks, including audits and assessments.
- On-Prem & Cloud Development
- Develop data engineering solutions using Oracle & SQL databases across hybrid infrastructures.
- Team Support & On-Call Coverage
- Provide on-call support for batch processes and mentor junior team members in best practices and tools.
Requirements
- Hands-on experience with Informatica DPM, TDM, and PowerCenter for data discovery and masking.
- OneTrust Experience
- Proven experience implementing and managing OneTrust AI & Data Discovery and Governance modules.
- Data Privacy Knowledge
- Strong understanding of global privacy regulations (GDPR, CCPA) and data protection concepts.
- Technical Proficiency
- Solid SQL skills, knowledge of ETL concepts, and automation using Python or Control-M.
- Experience working with Oracle databases in both on-prem and cloud environments.
- Stakeholder Communication
- Excellent verbal/written communication and ability to engage cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Analytical Thinking
- Strong problem-solving and data analysis skills with high attention to detail.
