Senior Community Fundraiser – Scotland (Edinburgh Region)
Job summary
A leading cancer charity is seeking a Senior Community Fundraiser to establish and enhance their presence in Edinburgh and the surrounding areas. The successful candidate will engage with local communities, develop new relationships, and inspire supporters to drive fundraising initiatives. This remote role requires regular travel and strong relationship-building skills. Previous charity experience is not essential, but a proactive approach and excellent local knowledge are crucial. This position initially offers an 18-month contract with potential for permanence.
Qualifications
- Experienced in developing new relationships in customer service or similar roles.
- Confident in approaching new contacts and managing relationship growth.
- Ability to work independently in varying locations with a flexible schedule.
Responsibilities
- Build Breast Cancer Now’s presence in Edinburgh and surrounding areas.
- Develop and inspire supporters to drive new fundraising initiatives.
- Engage with the community to grow income for the charity.
