This is an exciting opportunity to work with cutting-edge HVAC technology while providing exceptional service to our valued customers. You’ll be part of a highly skilled team, working on industry-leading equipment and playing a key role in delivering world-class support.**What You’ll Be Doing**You will be responsible for troubleshooting, servicing, and commissioning industrial water chillers—working independently and as part of a collaborative team. Your work will include:* Responding to service calls promptly and completing risk assessments before work begins* Performing maintenance, repairs, and fault diagnostics on Carrier and third-party chillers, including air-cooled, water-cooled, screw, scroll, centrifugal, and reciprocating systems* Identifying and rectifying electrical and mechanical faults, including complex technical troubleshooting both onsite and remotely* Interpreting wiring diagrams, P&ID drawings, pressure enthalpy diagrams, and other technical documentation* Commissioning standard and large-capacity chillers and ensuring full compliance with installation and system requirements* Working closely with customers, attending site meetings, and offering expert technical guidance with minimal supervision* Supporting junior engineers, mentoring apprentices, and assisting the Training Manager in delivering technical courses* Ensuring full compliance with F-Gas regulations and health and safety standards* Providing accurate and detailed service reports through our digital reporting system* Acting as an SME in specialist areas such as centrifugal compressor rebuilds, absorption chillers, and chiller sequencing controls**What We’re Looking For*** City & Guilds Qualification in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning* F-Gas Category 1 certification* HNC/ONC in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning (preferred)* Strong experience working with Carrier and other manufacturers’ chillers* Solid understanding of commercial and industrial HVAC systems* Proven ability to diagnose and resolve complex breakdowns* Full UK driving licence (or equivalent)* Strong knowledge of refrigeration circuits, thermodynamics, and controls* Background as a Technician or Engineer within the HVAC industry**Benefits*** Competitive salary package (negotiable DOE)* Enhanced payments for lead generation, travel time, overtime, and on-call* Company vehicle* 25 days’ holiday + bank holidays + holiday purchase scheme* Company pension* Excellent career progression and continuous development opportunities* Work with industry-leading equipment and state-of-the-art toolsAt Carrier, we’re committed to excellence, innovation, and sustainability.
