Job summary
A leading engineering firm in Rotherham is seeking a skilled Welder Fabricator to join their team. The role involves reading and interpreting engineering drawings, fabricating components from various materials, and maintaining high-quality standards. Candidates should possess strong MIG welding skills and an understanding of health and safety practices. This is a permanent position with a pay rate of £16.00 per hour.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Welder Fabricator in a fabrication or engineering environment.
- Strong MIG welding skills and ability to work from technical drawings.
- Good understanding of health and safety practices.
Responsibilities
- Read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
- Fabricate and assemble mild steel, stainless steel, and aluminium components.
- Perform high-quality MIG welding (TIG welding experience advantageous).
- Operate workshop equipment such as saws, drills, and press brakes.
- Ensure all work meets quality and safety standards.
Skills
Position: Welder Fabricator
Location: Rotherham, S61
Hours: Monday to Friday, day shifts
Pay Rate: £16.00 per hr
