Job vacancies: IT Services Technician - Rotherham
Your role

Cepac is a leading independent manufacturer of corrugated packaging with four sites across the UK.

Due to the expansion of our IT Department, we are looking to recruit an IT Services Technician to join our team based in Manvers, Rotherham.

The ideal candidate will be an integral member of the IT Service Delivery Team providing prompt responses and effective resolutions to L1 & L2 requests for service and support generated within the business in order to support business continuity.

The ideal applicant must be able to demonstrate the following proficiencies:

  • Supporting a Microsoft Enterprise End-User environment. Latest Windows OS, Print Servers,
    DHCP, DNS.
  • Deployment, configuration, and management of end user endpoints.
  • Thorough hardware/software troubleshooting skills and methods.
  • Basic understanding of Enterprise Endpoint Cloud technologies. Endpoint Manager/Intune.
  • Basic understanding and support of networking technologies/methodologies.
  • Awareness of Cyber Security best practices.
  • Telephony and Mobile Communications.

With the following skills:

  • Strong background in 1 st and 2 nd line support
  • Abilities to install and administer computer hardware, software, and network components
  • Time management and prioritisation skills
  • Analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
  • Effective verbal, presentation and listening communications skills
  • Effective written communications skills

The benefits offered:

  • Salary range up to £30,810 depending on experience
  • Working hours - 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday
  • Generous annual bonus scheme
  • Generous Contributory Pension Scheme
  • Annual Leave (increasing with service) up to 25 days plus public holidays
  • Death in Service up to four times basic salary
