Overview
Design and implement automated data discovery solutions to identify sensitive data (PII/NPI) using tools like Informatica DPM and OneTrust.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement automated data discovery solutions to identify sensitive data (PII/NPI) using tools like Informatica DPM and OneTrust.
- Job Scheduling and Automation
- Schedule and maintain scanning jobs to detect PII/NPI across enterprise databases and structured data sources.
- Metadata and Rule Creation
- Define metadata and data rules using regular expressions to identify and tag sensitive information accurately.
- Manual Result Curation
- Manually review and curate scan results to ensure high accuracy and reduce false positives.
- Data Masking and Test Data Management
- Leverage Informatica TDM to build and manage masking rules and packages for protecting sensitive data.
- Batch Job Automation
- Automate data protection workflows using enterprise-grade job scheduling tools like BMC Control-M.
- Support and Troubleshooting
- Provide ongoing support for data protection batch processes, including rotating on-call responsibilities and issue resolution.
Qualifications
- Strong experience with Informatica Data Privacy Management (DPM), Test Data Management (TDM), and PowerCenter tools.
- OneTrust Governance Proficiency
- Hands-on experience with OneTrust AI & Data Discovery and Governance tools for scanning and cataloging sensitive data.
- Data Privacy Law Knowledge
- In-depth understanding of global data privacy regulations such as GDPR and CCPA.
- Oracle and SQL Skills
- Practical experience with Oracle and SQL databases in both on-prem and cloud environments, including data engineering tasks.
- Data Governance and Compliance
- Proficiency in data governance frameworks, data quality standards, and compliance processes.
- Communication and Leadership
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently, mentor junior team members, and manage stakeholders.
- Analytical and Scripting Abilities
- Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills, with hands-on Python experience for automation and analysis.
