Qualifications

  • Substantial experience in Young Persons services required.

This range is provided by Bupa. Your actual pay will be based on your skills and experience — talk with your recruiter to learn more.

Role Overview
  • Location: Home-based (UK only) – Monthly travel to a Bupa site required at a minimum.
  • Contract: Permanent, Full-time (37.5 hours) – Flexible options available (e.g. 30 hours over 4 days)
  • Salary: £65,000 per annum (dependent on experience) + excellent benefits

About the Role

This is a pivotal leadership position within our newly established Young Persons Mental Health service. You’ll help shape the future of the service, ensuring clinical excellence and outstanding care delivery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leading clinical performance and oversight of Young Persons Mental Health practitioners
  • Collaborating with the Clinical Head of Mental Health on governance, quality, and education
  • Driving quality improvement initiatives
  • Delivering clinical sessions one day per week
  • Supporting clinician development and career pathways
  • Providing input to commercial teams
  • Acting as a trusted clinical voice and deputy to the Clinical Head of Mental Health
Essential Qualifications
  • Chartered Clinical or Counselling Psychologist (Doctorate level, BPS-accredited, HCPC registered)
  • Accredited CBT Psychotherapist (Postgraduate diploma, BABCP-accredited)
  • Accredited Counsellor/Psychotherapist (Level 4+ diploma, BACP-accredited)
  • All with substantial experience in Young Persons services
