Job summary
A renewable energy company in the United Kingdom is seeking a Senior Commercial Manager/PPA Originator to drive commercial growth and shape the future of fair energy. This pivotal role requires proven experience in energy trading and PPA origination, excellent negotiation skills, and the ability to build a portfolio of generators and offtakers. - Proven experience in energy trading, PPA origination, or commercial management.
- Strong understanding of regulatory frameworks (especially P442 and P441).
- Ability to bring or build a portfolio of generators and offtakers.
Responsibilities
- Originate and grow an initial portfolio targeting ~100 GWh in Year 1.
- Develop and commercialise bespoke energy tariffs.
- Drive generator and offtaker acquisition, leveraging existing relationships.
- Ensure compliance with P442 and P441 frameworks.
- Collaborate with tech and legal teams to optimise commercial readiness.
