Legrand, North America has an exciting opportunity for a Demand Planner - UK & APAC to join the Data Center Power and Control Division Starline Team. This position is remote reporting to Reading, UK. It is responsible for leading and managing Demand Planning functions across Starline EMEA and AP in the Data, Power and Control Sector (DPC). The incumbent should be able to lead both in a matrix and direct organization. The role aims to develop an S&OP strategy that supports the business along with inventory strategies to support growth, increase working capital and reduce excess & obsolete (E&O). The leader will also drive Legrand’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) goals and integrate these priorities into supply chain processes. The candidate will use our ERP system (Syteline), Demand Planning (Anaplan), and CRM (Salesforce) to maintain inventory levels, monitor production commitments, and provide visibility on commitment status. The position reports to the Global Demand Planning Manager.

• S&OP: Drive a robust global S&OP process across the Starline business and standardize inventory positions within the S&OP process to facilitate supply decisions.
• Demand Forecasting: Develop, refine, and maintain accurate demand forecasts using historical data, market trends, and input from sales teams; collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather information and improve forecast accuracy.
• Inventory Management: Optimize global inventory levels to ensure product availability while minimizing carrying costs; monitor turnover and identify slow-moving or obsolete items with proposed solutions.
• Supply Planning: Work with procurement and production teams to align supply plans with demand forecasts; ensure production schedules and procurement activities meet demand requirements.
• Data Analysis: Use analytical tools to assess historical data, identify patterns, and generate forecasts; regularly analyze sales data and market trends to adjust forecasts as needed.
• Collaboration And Communication: Build strong relationships with sales, production, and procurement; support leads to optimize the Supply Chain footprint; facilitate cross-functional meetings to align demand and supply plans; drive adherence to service metrics (On Time Performance, Lead Time, Voice of the Customer).

• Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university with emphasis in Supply Chain Management or related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Also acceptable: Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, business or related field.

• Experience: 3-5 years in the supply chain function, preferably in planning/scheduling in a manufacturing environment. APICS Basic Certification or progress toward certification preferred.
• Proven experience as a demand planner or in a similar role with supply chain management.
• Demonstrated leadership with strategic and operational skills to lead transformational change; experience in running end-to-end S&OP processes; inventory management knowledge; understanding of demand planning within ERP systems; ability to navigate cross-business complex organizational needs.

• Skills/Knowledge/Abilities: Experience in SCM including planning in an ERP/CRM environment; proven ability to drive inventory/working capital strategies, lead time responsiveness, and customer service levels; knowledge of end-to-end Supply Chain; strong analytics, data mining, and problem-solving; excellent verbal and written communication; ability to work in a matrix, cross-functional environment; project management; ability to travel globally; negotiation and influencing skills; results-driven with integrity; self-driven and able to work with minimal supervision.
