Job summary
A specialist support organization is seeking qualified Teachers of the Deaf and individuals with experience in Multi-Sensory Impairments across the UK. Candidates should be sensitive to students' needs in higher education settings and have relevant teaching qualifications. Responsibilities include providing tailored assistance and managing educational documentation. The role offers flexibility in hours based on availability.
Qualifications
- Experience as an Advisory Teacher for Deaf or Multi-Sensory Impairment students.
- Teaching qualifications accepted at Level 4 and above.
- Registered Qualified British Sign Language Interpreter preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide one-to-one study skills tuition for independent learning strategies.
- Manage documentation, including Individual Learning Plans.
- Participate in staff development and regular supervision.
