Job summary
A recruitment agency is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to manage food retail fit-out projects across the UK. This permanent role requires significant expertise in commercial management and budgeting in a fast-paced retail environment. Responsibilities include overseeing project costs, managing subcontractor packages, and liaising with various stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery. Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor within food retail fit-out.
- Strong commercial and contractual knowledge.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Responsibilities
- Commercial management of food retail fit-out projects.
- Preparation and control of budgets, cost plans, and forecasts.
- Managing valuations, variations, and final accounts.
- Procurement and management of subcontractor packages.
- Liaising with clients, project managers, and site teams.
