Are you a technically skilled underwriter with a passion for growing business? Do you have a strong background in insurance and experience in real estate or commercial property? We’re looking for a Senior Real Estate Underwriter to accelerate the growth of our mid‑market retail real estate portfolio. You’ll use your expertise to underwrite complex property risks and, most importantly, help us win new business and strengthen our presence in the market.

• Proactively identify and secure new business opportunities within the real estate sector.
• Build strong relationships with brokers, clients, and partners to expand Zurich’s reach and reputation.
• Deliver expert underwriting solutions tailored to client needs, ensuring both growth and profitability.
• Keep ahead of market trends and regulatory developments, using your insights to shape our go‑to‑market strategy.
• You will play a key role in supporting the wider regional team by fostering growth through coaching and development, encouraging collaboration, and driving commercial success.

• Proven underwriting experience in insurance, ideally with real estate or retail portfolios.
• Strong analytical and technical abilities, with confidence in interpreting complex financial data.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with a flair for building lasting connections.
• A proactive, commercially minded approach, always focused on growth and finding new opportunities.
