You’ll be a key part of bringing our innovative game ideas to life. A typical day might look like this:
- Architecting and implementing new games and features using PixiJS and other modern JavaScript technologies.
- Optimizing performance and graphics rendering to ensure our games run smoothly across all devices.
- Collaboration closely with Game Designers and Artists to translate creative visions into high-quality, scalable code.
- Mentoring and guiding mid-level developers on PixiJS best practices and game development patterns.
- Driving the adoption of new tools and techniques within our games and Development teams.
We're looking for someone who is a creative problem-solver and passionate about game performance.
The Must-Haves:
- Deep, proven expertise in PixiJS and its ecosystem.
- Strong experience in commercial JavaScript/TypeScript game development.
- A portfolio demonstrating high-performance web game projects.
- Experience with Git and modern software development workflows (Agile/Scrum).
- Ability to tackle complex problems related to graphics, animation, and state management.
The Nice-to-Haves (Bonus points if you have these!):
- Experience with WebSockets and real-time multiplayer systems.
- Familiarity with deployment in AWS or other cloud environments.
