With blue-chip clients including global law firms, management consultancies, and financial services, BlckBx has become a world leader in its field. We're fully funded, scaling fast, and looking for a talented Full Stack Engineer to join our enthusiastic development team.

About the Role

As our Full Stack Engineer, you'll be working on a modern tech stack (React, Python, AWS, Bedrock) to build new features, improve performance, and shape the success of our platform, mobile app, and client-facing websites. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with 2-5 years of experience to grow into a senior technical role with genuine impact.

You'll work directly with our CEO and Founder and our amazing developers, collaborating across the entire product lifecycle while helping to mentor junior developers as we scale.

What You'll Be Doing

• Building and maintaining features across our frontend (React) and backend (Python/PHP/Flask/FastAPI)
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to define, design, and deploy new features that solve real user problems
• Contributing to system architecture decisions and technical strategy
• Developing, testing, and deploying code in production environments
• Participating in code reviews and improving development processes
• Acting as a gatekeeper for our production environment
• Working with third-party UX/UI designers and gathering customer feedback
• Troubleshooting and debugging complex issues

What We're Looking For

• 2-6+ years' experience in a full stack development role
• Comfortable building APIs with Python and/or PHP
• Experience with database technologies (MySQL, plus Airtable knowledge is a bonus)
• Familiar with AWS services like RDS, EC2, S3, and ideally Bedrock
• Git and version control expertise
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

Must Have:

• Experience with mobile development (React Native/Cordova/Expo)
• Familiarity with AI frameworks like OpenAI, Claude, or AWS Bedrock
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science (Master's an advantage)from Russell Group university
