Job description

At Capgemini Invent, we believe difference drives change. As inventive transformation consultants, we blend our strategic, creative and scientific capabilities, collaborating closely with clients to deliver cutting‑edge solutions. Join us to drive transformation tailored to our client's challenges of today and tomorrow. Informed and validated by science and data. Superpowered by creativity and design. All underpinned by technology created with purpose.

Join our Data & AI Strategy team as a Data & AI Value Strategist and be part of the future of AI, where we’re not just advising clients, we’re actively challenging, disrupting and reinventing traditional business models by embedding AI across the full enterprise lifecycle.

We’re seeking professionals who can bridge the gap between business and technology, with a strong focus on value realisation, ROI modelling and strategic planning for data and AI investments. You will lead engagements that quantify impact, secure executive buy‑in and ensure organisations achieve tangible benefits from their data and AI strategies.

YOUR ROLE

This role is pivotal in building and leading our new Data & AI Value capability, designed to complement our existing Data & AI Strategy team. You will define the vision, structure and operating model for this capability, ensuring it becomes a core part of how we help clients realise measurable business value from data and AI investments. Working closely with our strategy experts, you will establish frameworks, methodologies and propositions that position Capgemini Invent as a market leader in value‑driven data and AI transformation.

DEFINE VALUE FRAMEWORKS – You will lead the development of robust value frameworks and benefit models to quantify the impact of data and AI initiatives across our clients. This includes identifying key metrics, modelling ROI and ensuring alignment with strategic priorities.

BUILD BUSINESS CASES FOR CHANGE – You will create compelling business cases that articulate the tangible benefits of data and AI investments. These cases will underpin transformation programmes, secure funding and drive organisational commitment to change.

ENGAGE EXECUTIVES AND SHAPE VISION – You will partner with C‑suite stakeholders to secure buy‑in, shape vision and influence decision‑making. Your ability to translate technical concepts into clear business narratives will be critical in driving adoption and embedding data and AI strategies at the highest levels.

TRANSLATE STRATEGY INTO EXECUTION – You will design strategic roadmaps that convert complex data and AI business vision, ambition and high‑level capabilities into clear, actionable plans. These roadmaps will guide organisations through transformation, ensuring initiatives deliver measurable outcomes.

TRACK AND MEASURE REALISED VALUE – You will establish mechanisms to monitor and report on the realised value of data and AI investments over time. This includes defining KPIs, implementing tracking tools and advising on continuous improvement to maximise ROI.

DEVELOP THE NEXT GENERATION OF VALUE STRATEGISTS – As a leader in our Data & AI Strategy practice, you will play a key role in team development and operations. You will coach and mentor consultants to grow as subject matter experts in value realisation and strategic planning, providing day‑to‑day feedback alongside long‑term guidance.

COLLABORATE WITH BUSINESS AND TECHNOLOGY LEADERS – You will build, nurture and maintain strong relationships with senior client stakeholders and strategic partners, advising on data and AI strategy implementation and value measurement. Your influence will shape decisions across both IT and business domains, ensuring alignment and impact at the highest levels.

ESTABLISH AND SCALE THE CAPABILITY – As the founding leader, you will define the operating model, build the team and develop go‑to‑market propositions. This includes building a strong pipeline of opportunities, leveraging internal networks and market insights to drive growth and positioning the capability as a trusted partner for clients.
