We are currently looking for an Electrician to join our team in Cardiff.

Accountabilities/Responsibilities:

• Perform routine electrical repairs, installations, and upgrades in social housing properties
• Install and maintain electrical systems including lighting, sockets, distribution boards, heating systems, and fire alarms
• Respond to tenant-reported faults efficiently and with excellent customer service
• Work in void properties to prepare them for re-letting, ensuring full electrical compliance
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times
• Collaborate with other trades and contractors as part of a wider property maintenance team
• Maintain a professional and respectful demeanour while working in tenants' homes

• NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation or equivalent
• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS7671)
• City & Guilds 2391 or 2394/2395 (Inspection and Testing) – preferred
• Proven experience in domestic electrical work, ideally within social or residential housing
• Full UK driving licence
• Strong understanding of current electrical safety standards and building regulations
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
