Harvey Nichols is seeking an exceptional Sous Chef – Pastry to join the acclaimed brigade at the iconic OXO Tower Restaurant, Bar & Brasserie. As our Sous Chef – Pastry, you will play a key leadership role within the pastry team, supporting the Head Pastry Chef in driving creativity, excellence, and consistency across all pastry and dessert operations. You will:

• Lead the day-to-day running of the pastry section, ensuring smooth, efficient service
• Prepare, produce, and present refined pastries and desserts to the highest standards
• Collaborate closely with the Head Pastry Chef on menu development, seasonal concepts, and innovative ideas
• Uphold OXO’s reputation for beautifully executed, modern, and elegant pastry work
• Train, motivate, and support junior pastry chefs, nurturing skill development and team growth
• Maintain exceptional kitchen organisation, hygiene, and compliance with all food safety standards
• Contribute to operational planning, stock control, and ordering
• Demonstrate leadership, commitment, and flexibility — especially during busy evening and weekend services

You are a dedicated and ambitious pastry professional with the creative flair and technical skill to help lead a high-performing team. You will bring:

• Experience as a Pastry Sous Chef or strong experience as a Senior Chef de Partie looking to step up
• A deep passion for patisserie, flavour development, modern techniques, and impeccable presentation
• Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and support others
• A collaborative, positive approach and the drive to maintain the highest standards under pressure
